iPads
Start Here!

  • Start you iPad
  • Select a browser (start with Chrome then use Safari if Chrome doesn't work)
  • Type my.ncedcloud in the search engine
  • Log into Rapid Identity with your student number and password
  • Open your email and check for messages from the school, close when finished
  • Open your Google Drive app
  • Go back to NCEdCloud and open Canvas and select your class
  • Remember to close apps once you are done (double-tap the home button and swipe apps to close)
  • To shut down the iPad hold the top power button and slide to Power Off on the screen

Students

You will get a student ID number and a password from the Datamanager. This number and password will allow you to log into several of the apps you will be using in school.

Open the Chrome app on your iPad. NCEdCloud RapidIdentity will request your ID number and password. This will grant you access to your PowerSchool information (school schedule/grades).

Your email is your student ID number followed by @student.cravenk12.org. This email is for school and not personal communication.

Mosyle is the device program Craven County Schools (CCS) uses to deploy and control student and staff iPads. PowerSchool feeds the information into Mosyle about 72 hours after the first day the student is counted present at school. Students may be assigned another device until their information appears in Mosyle Manager.

All teachers have a webpage with information about themselves and their class(es). Please contact your teacher(s) with any questions or concerns you may have.
