Dr. Nannette Walston-Moore

Dr. Nannette Walston-Moore is a proud alumna of West Craven High School, whose deep roots in the community began at West Craven Middle School. With a career dedicated to excellence in education, she spent nine years as a Career and Technical Education (CTE) Teacher. During her tenure at West Craven Middle, she served in pivotal leadership roles, including AVID Coordinator and a member of the School Improvement Team’s Community Goal Team. Her commitment to student development extended beyond the classroom as a coach for Cheer, Women’s Basketball, and Track.

Dr. Walston-Moore holds an undergraduate degree from St. Augustine’s University and earned her teaching licensure through East Carolina University. She furthered her education at Gardner-Webb University, where she obtained both her Master’s and her Doctorate in Organizational Leadership.
